WEEKLY ECONOMIC CALENDAR AHEAD

Here is what you need to know about the important news between October 3rd 2022 and October 7th 2022, where we take a look at the economic data, market news and headlines likely to have the biggest impact on the market prices this week and beyond, as well as the US Dollar, and other key correlated assets.

U.S. dollar index

Investors for this week remain cautious, waiting for the release of the Non-Farm Payrolls, for indications if economy started to take the “right path”. The dollar indicator, ended previous week, losing some ground from 114 to 112, waiting now to see, which path it will follow.

Gold

Gold gains positive traction on the first day of a new week and hits a fresh daily high, around the $1,670 area during the early European session. The major event that will probably help the price of the precious metal for this week, is the release of the NFP on Friday and investors are eyeing on this.

Oil

Oil prices started the week with a “high jump” after closing the previous week dropping until the $79 and closing, the opening of the markets saw the price of the precious liquid at $81.

Stocks

Morgan Stanley’s Global Investment Committee believes this bear market is far from over and recommends investors consider the three most important indicators of US economy.
