WEEKLY ECONOMIC CALENDAR AHEAD

Here is what you need to know about the important news between October 31st, 2022, and November 4th 2022, where we take a look at the economic data, market news and headlines likely to have the biggest impact on the market prices this week and beyond, as well as the US Dollar, and other key correlated assets.

U.S. dollar index

Dollar index extended previous week’s rebound, trading near 110.80 early on Monday. Geopolitical concerns join the FED hawkish bets to propel US dollar’s safe heaven demand, pushing the greenback indicator higher.

Gold

Gold prices continued its loss on Friday, losing $18 for the day. As analysts reveal and expect lack of interest on the precious metal as a safe heaven precious commodity, is adding pressure to the precious metal.

Oil

Oil opened the week loosing, flowing a weaker than expected Factory activity in China, the world’s largest crude importer, which fell unexpectedly in October, an official survey showed on Monday, caused by softening global demand and strict COVID-19 restrictions that hit production.

Stocks

Dow posted its best week in decades as investors continued to monitor a slew of corporate earnings results. In the week ahead, market participants will be looking toward the U.S. Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision and policy statement, amid expectations of another 75-basis point hike. In addition, investors will be closely monitoring Manufacturing and Services PMIs, JOLTs Job Openings, and ADP Nonfarm Employment Change data. On the earnings front, major companies to report results include Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRKa ), Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD), Uber (NYSE:UBER), PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL), and Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM).
