Gold prices continued its loss on Friday, losing $18 for the day. As analysts reveal and expect lack of interest on the precious metal as a safe heaven precious commodity, is adding pressure to the precious metal.
Oil
Oil opened the week loosing, flowing a weaker than expected Factory activity in China, the world’s largest crude importer, which fell unexpectedly in October, an official survey showed on Monday, caused by softening global demand and strict COVID-19 restrictions that hit production.
Stocks
Dow posted its best week in decades as investors continued to monitor a slew of corporate earnings results. In the week ahead, market participants will be looking toward the U.S. Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision and policy statement, amid expectations of another 75-basis point hike. In addition, investors will be closely monitoring Manufacturing and Services PMIs, JOLTs Job Openings, and ADP Nonfarm Employment Change data. On the earnings front, major companies to report results include Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRKa ), Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD), Uber (NYSE:UBER), PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL), and Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM).
